Unity Homes is the contemporary homes division of Colonial Building Company (CBCO) and was created after the full acquisition of the joint venture Unity Builders Group. As part of the joint venture hundreds of homes have been built in Woodlands – Waterford, Stoneleigh Reserve – Logan Reserve, Springfield Lakes and Yarrabilba.

Parent company Colonial Building Company (CBCO) was established in 1994 on the Gold Coast and has many years of experience within the building industry.  

CBCO history began after developers at Stockland asked them to build their first Queenslander display home at the Pacific Pines Estate. The business subsequently expanded and set up Head Office in Nerang as well as constructing a second display at Pacific Pines. Over the next ten years CBCO built more than eleven Display Homes throughout South East Queensland with many based in prominent developments.

In 2001 the Head Office moved to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast and a second office was opened in the centre of Brisbane. This allowed CBCO to meet the demands of the ever growing market in the area and to continue our expansion.

CBCO was selected to be one of two Builders to showcase the Town Cottage product for Lend Lease at Woodlands – Waterford.  CBCO jointly operated two successful Display Homes from this location.

In 2013 CBCO opened the sole Display Home in the Lend Lease development Stoneleigh Reserve at Logan Reserve.  This provided the first opportunity to showcase contemporary home designs and proved to be very popular and where the Unity Builders Group joint venture began.

Colonial operates from Offices at Molendinar on the Gold Coast with access to the booming northern Gold Coast corridor and continues to offer design and construct for Colonial, Queenslander, Cottage, Contemporary and Inner City housing.

# $5K DEPOSIT PROMOTION - Offer only applies to packages at Gainsborough Greens tagged with $5K Deposit promo. Purchaser to pay $5,000 Deposit to secure the house + land package and sign an Initial Agreement.

The Purchaser must provide a finance preapproval for an amount that covers the house + land package price within fourteen (14) days of Deposit payment.  If finance preapproval is not provided within this timeframe the package will be released back on to the market and the Deposit will be refunded.

Three months before expected completion the Purchaser must sign a Build Contract with the Builder and obtain unconditional finance approval and be prepared to settle at completion of the home. Once the Build Contract is signed the $5,000 Initial Deposit is no longer refundable (after cooling off period). Once unconditional finance is approved the balance of five (5) percent Deposit is required.

The Purchaser will be required to make full Settlement (balance of purchase price) at completion of the home.
